Event Description
The South Dakota Cattlemen's Association invites the public and fellow members to join Region Directors Britton Blair and Devin Stephens for the Spearfish Region Roundup.
The Spearfish Region Roundup offers camaraderie, meaningful conversations, and social and meal among fellow cattle folks, beginning at 6:00 PM MST. This year, we welcome Dr. Beth Thompson, the South Dakota State Veterinarian, and the USDA Farm Service Agency.
Dr. Thompson will lead discussions and provide insights on the implementation of the USDA Animal & Plant Health Inspection Service's final rule regarding electronic identification (EID) for disease traceability.
The USDA Farm Service Agency will provide drought resources and programs that can help you manage risk, build resilience, and assist with drought recovery on your operation.
