Event Description
The South Dakota Cattlemen's Association invites the public and fellow members to join Region Directors Austin Havlik and Colby Olson for the Mitchell Region Roundup.
The Mitchell Region Roundup offers camaraderie, meaningful conversations, and a meal among fellow cattle folks, beginning at 6:00 PM. This year, we welcome Dr. Beth Thompson, the South Dakota State Veterinarian, who will lead discussions and provide insights on the implementation of the USDA Animal & Plant Health Inspection Service's final rule regarding electronic identification (EID) for disease traceability. We'll also learn about livestock risk management tools, such as Livestock Risk Protection, from Blue Reef.
